I don’t know why it happens to me. I try to be aware of my surroundings, I really do. I don’t know what makes me walk up to a store clerk standing in front of a 40 foot long light bulb display and ask “Where do you guys keep your light bulbs?”

Possibly the same thing that makes me walk all over the house searching frantically for my baseball cap that’s hidden… perched on my head.

But today, I’m the fool because I asked Tracie to call Comcast and ask about upgrading our cable to HD cable so we could enjoy digital high definition TV on our spiffy widescreen LCD TV. (It sucks to watch TV in 420p when you have a TV capable of 1080p)

Turns out we already HAD HD cable and simply weren’t watching the correct channels. My co-workers had a glorious chuckle at my lack of TV knowhow. (In fact they seemed to come out of the woodwork to marvel at my stupidity…)
