Shoes
I just got a call from the secretary at the kids’ school. Cody was at her office because somehow his shoes were tied together (the right and left shoe to each other). He had about of foot of play between the two shoes so he could still walk… mostly.
She couldn’t get the knot undone because it was massive and his laces were wet…. so she called to ask if she could cut the laces. I said either that or I have another pair I could run down to her. She said if she cut them there would still be enough laces to tie his shoes properly so I told her to go ahead and cut them.
The catch to this? Cody swore up and down that *I* did that! She asked him, “who tied your shoes together?” He said I did! And he was quite adamant about it. I did tie his shoes (separately) this afternoon before he got on the bus. My guess is some kid may have tied them together and he didn’t realize it. Kids!
In other news, we’re here at the new house and loving it. It’s amazing how much daily life can change when you change your surroundings. We couldn’t be happier in this new house. I absolutely love it!!

And I heard he even said that you’d lie about whether you tied them together! Shame on you Mamma!
Oh yeah forgot that part. Deb said she was going to call me and find out if I did that. And yes, he said I’d lie about it. He’s a turkey!
He is such a little “Cody”. lol
Happy Birthday Tracie friend.
Love you bunches.
