Life.. SLOW DOWN please!

Work: Insane. I have never worked so much overtime in all my life and it’s taken a toll. I got my first ever real sinus infection this last week and OMG I hope I never get one again.

We brought Bob to his final resting place last weekend. High in the Wallowa Mountains (at Wallowa Lake). It was an emotional weekend.

Cody started Kindergarten this year. He loves school and takes it very seriously. He’s adorable to watch get on the bus every morning. So serious and determined.

Kevin started High School this year. He’s liking it but has a ton of homework. He’s adjusting well… he isn’t eating at school though. Which has me concerned. He claims he doesn’t have time with all the classes and his locker being on another floor from his classes. So he comes home starving. He got lots of classes and the same lunch as his group of friends from Jr High so that helps.

Melissa is in 5th grade now. She’s doing great. She commented that 5th grade was harder than 4th. She has two teachers as they are “job sharing”. It’s interesting.

Casey is in 3rd grade now. He’s same ole same ole when it comes to school. I think he could take it or leave it.

Jack and I are doing great.. just busy all the time. We went to Kah-nee-ta for our anniversary this year and loved it. Only lost $200 in the casinos… lol

We got NONE of the house projects accomplished this summer that we planned to do. That stinks.. but ah well. We tried at least! lol

Kindergarten Woes…

Cody, Morning mom. am I still in kindergarten?
Me: Yes, you will be in kindergarten all year.
Cody: but I want to be in real school
Me: Kindergarten is real school
Cody: no, I’m too big for kindergarten
