Casey’s First Typed Letter

Jack created a folder on his computer for Casey to keep his paint pictures, drawings, etc. Yesterday after school he was messing around on the computer then came running up to me and said,

“Mom! I found a Notebook and I can type in it and write letters and make a journal!!”

I went to see what he was talking about and my dear son found “Notepad”. He said he wanted to type a letter.

I was quite impressed with what typed up all on his own. I asked if I could post it on the blog. He thought about it a minute, then said sure!

So here it is, no edits from me other than to take out his school name:

i love my life cous i hav great food and my parents and great brothers and sisters i love my family it is great to be me this is my familys names kevin and melissa and cody and jackson and tracie and jackie and katheren and kala that is my familys names this is my schools name ***** elamentry school. this is what i eat at school i eat corndogs that was on tuseday on the weekend i just play on the xbox the game i play is starwars battel front 2.i get to play as a clone trooper and a jeti like obe one kenobe and all the jetis that thar is. and i can be a wookei this is wat i do on christmis first i eat brekfist then i open the presints.and still i watch telivison to i owase hav my cusins over what i get for brekfist on christmis is mufins and on hallow ween i get candy for disert i get 2 peses of candy if.i get a small peis and if i get a big peis i can only get 1 peis.and on my birthday i hav my mom make my kace i think my moms kaces are the best kaces i hav ever i love my mom and dad my dad loves this name dadzilla and my moms faveret name is casey and cody and melissa and kevin and tracei and jackson. and i made a spider/man book and a dad book and a mom book todays date is january.17,2006 my name is casey thompson this is my faverit carictr is krunk my faverit movie is krunks new groove.my mom is a good parent my dad is a good dad and a good helper at fixing things and mom she makes my lunch and my mom keeps me safe i love you mom and dad and i am watching a funy video it is called celebrity jeopardy and my dad and me work together that is my letter i love you mom and dad that is my very last of my letter good by the end by casey.

Not bad for a 7 year old!
