Has it really been a week since I posted last? Sheesh! Time flies. I swear it feels like I posted yesterday.
Cody, me, Casey, Jack, and now Kevin are still battling this stupid cough. It’s nasty!
Other than that there’s not much to report. The week flew by. Same ole same ole… We did get some new Christmas lights and worked out a plan for decorating our house this year. It should be nice, despite our half dug up yard and the re-landscaping project we started.
Work has kicked my ass this week. I did the holiday schedule this year. Most of the night crew wasn’t happy with what I came up with. They were like “but last year….” about everything. Well, that was last year. And last year the other supervisor had a lot more to work with and … it probably helped that she had volunteers for holidays whereas I had none. No one who worked last year wanted to again this year. I don’t blame them.. but on the other hand we can’t have everyone take the day off, either. I am even working more this year than I did last holiday season. I tried to be as fair as possible, but there were issues like people not sending their preferences, or giving me the wrong days off that they wanted. At least we’re willing to be flexible and not just make everyone work their scheduled time, holiday or not.
So what’s everyone doing for the holidays?
Decorating, Decorating, and Decorating : ) I love Christmas. I started getting excited on October 2nd.

We’re heading off to Richie’s Gramma Janet’s house for Thanksgiving and are planning a small Christmas at home with a big supper.
