Cody going to School?
 | Cody woke up this morning to Jack and I packing the kids’ lunches and announced that he was going to school too. And that he was going to ride the bus and all. He went and got his backpack full of disney movies, rocks, grass, and hotwheels, (Casey’s old one that Casey gave to Cody) and then he got himself dressed (shoes backwards and all), put Melissa’s coat on and said he was ready. Now he’s asking me to pack him a lunch.
I’ve told him several times this morning that he cannot go with Casey and Melissa. He just says “Yes I can”. I told him no, he can’t go. He simply refuses to believe me. If he would just learn to use the potty full time, we might find a pre-school for him. But he hasn’t put those two together yet. This isn’t the first time we’ve gone through this. I think I even posted a picture last year of him in Casey’s boots (backwards) and shorts on (backwards) where he announced he was going to school. Poor kid. And he’s so darn cute, yet it’s sad at the same time. I had to take a picture again though. Too priceless. Update: |
Oh My Goodness. Your childern are so cute : ) He looks so determined in that picture.
He’s such a little personality! I just wanna hug that little fella, and I think I will when I get home. Tons and bunches.
I sometimes wish I could just can moments like that to open years down the road and enjoy again.
Poor little guy. It wont be too many years down the road before you will be hearing him say “awwww mom, do I have to go to school today?” lol
