Back to School
Yesterday was the first day back to school for the kids. They had an overall great day. One minor glitch however, Casey didn’t come home on the bus with Melissa.
So of course I called and they put me on hold because they couldn’t find him. !!!!! Then they found him so it was all good. The new bus driver didn’t wait long enough for all the kids to get on the bus so she took off without a bunch of kids. Melissa thought I must’ve picked him up early so that’s why she didn’t say anything. The school had called transporation to get another bus there asap to get all the stranded kids home but I went and picked up Casey anyway. It wasn’t worth waiting for another bus and not knowing when he’d get home. I didn’t like that feeling.
Other than that, all the kids seem happy with their teachers. Here’s a couple photos. Yes Casey and Kevin are in matching clothes. They wanted it that way.

Poor Casey! Didn’t something similar happen to him last year?
Richie wants to ride the bus badly because the neighbor child, Adam, does, but one of the ladies I talk to when I go pick him up said she tried to get hers on the bus but unless they are “special ed.” the bus doesn’t have a stop on our route..well why not? Adam goes from right out front and goes to the same place as Richie…I don’t know if she was correct about all of it.
The kids all look happy to go back and the boys are adorable in their matching outfits…growing up fast!
Never a dull moment when you have kids! Some day soon I will have to tell you about Sarah’s trip to Las Vegas with her dad and about her car accident when she got back. She is ok, thankfully she was wearing her seat belt for once.
