Anniversary Dinner Cruise

Here are pictures of our dinner cruise on the Portland Spirit.

This week we’ve been busy as usual. My sister and her family stole Melissa and Casey away for a getaway at the beach so we just have Kevin and Cody till Tuesday or Wednesday. Kevin gets his braces on first thing tomorrow morning. It turns out our insurance is *not* going to cover most of it but … that’s ok. He needs it done and we’ll work it out. His orthodontist is very willing to work with us on the payments and such so that’s a good thing.

We got a new entertainment center! It arrived yesterday. It’s gorgeous! And huge! Here’s a picture:

Isn’t it cool? All the pieces are separate so if we ever got a big screen tv or something, we can pull out the center piece and use it for something else. You can widen and shorten it to suit your needs. There’s lights inside both cabinets (which are bare right now as you can see). It’s one of the nicest pieces of furniture we’ve ever owned! And it looks so much better in our huge living room than that other piece of crap entertainment center we had. lol

Jack has been kicking ass at work and things are much better in that area. He’s been recognized for his hard work a few times from other co-workers and clients … which makes life at work much easier for him.

Funny thing: remember our garage sale flop? Well, our neighbor next door is having a garage sale this weekend. She said we could put some stuff in her sale. So we did. Yesterday, in one day, we made more selling stuff at her garage sale than we made in the entire weekend at our own garage sale. lol. I’m not complaining though! I’m just happy to be rid of some things taking up room in our garage and have a little cash to show for it as well.

I hope everyone is doing well!

  1. Killer entertainment center! Gratz on selling stuffs. At least this way you didn’t have to sit on it all day :p

    *hugs*

  2. Great pics, love the one of you and Jack. Also the one of Jack with his arms up. He looks like a skipper :).
What an awesome entertainment center. I know you have wanted a new one for a long time. It looks great. I hope we can get together soon. Love ya all.

  3. That new furniture is gorgeous! Glad things are going well for both of you at your jobs. Sorry to hear you have to cover most of Kevin’s braces yourself. Sorry so quick with the writing..wanted to stop by, but busy here!

  4. That entertainment centeris heavier than ANYTHING I’ve ever owned. Trying to push that thing into place was pretty funny. I was slipping and sliding on the floor trying to budge the thing.

Our Anniversary weekend was the best I’ve had yet! SPA day > *
