Welcome to our new site!

I am sorry if it’s a pain to have to log in to view it, but Jack and I needed to have a place to post a bit more freely about life in general, and what happens in our life, without worrying about who might see it.

For example, being unable to vent about what happened at his job and having to delete the entry I originally posted. Neither of us want to feel confined in the things we express on this site. Plus, I feel better about posting pictures of our kids and such in a more “private” setting.

If having to register means no one comes to read here anymore, well, so be it. Our kids still enjoy it and it comes in handy to keep a log of what happens.

I’m still working out a few kinks with the new program (pMachine) so if you find any errors or can’t access something or post a comment, let me know. There are still some layout/design issues, such as certain areas don’t match the rest, but hopefully in time I’ll get those ironed out too. Some of the pictures and links in older entries don’t work and someday soon I’ll fix those, AND get smilies working again. We MUST have smilies!!

So, what’s been happening with us lately?

• Well, Casey lost his first tooth.
  
• I got promoted at my job to “Remote Services Representative II”.
  
• Jack continues to work his ass off at work and not getting a whole lot of recognition for it but it’s getting a little better.
  
• Casey, Melissa, and Kevin spent almost a week with my mom and stepdad at my stepdad’s cabin in the mountains (clear across Oregon state). We just had Cody so we got to see what it’s like having only one child for a while. (Our house stayed so clean!!)
  
• We went to the Stromgard Champions SCA event and that was ok. (I had to work most of the day so I met Jack and the kids there late afternoon).
  
• Currently we have the kids here for a summer visit. (Minus Kayla.) Jack is on a week’s vacation from work to spend time with them. Plus he needed a real vacation. He hasn’t had one in years!
