My summer vacation
So it’s only a week long, I haven’t had a summer vacation in years and I’m LOVING IT!
I wake up and have breakfast at the kids table with the kids, then kinda hang out with them and be lazy when I can.
- Saturday we went to the Stromgard Champoins Tournament.
- Sunday we lounged around some and recovered from Saturdays exertion. Oh, and I took the kids shopping and let Kevin and Jack spend some money they earned doing chores. They bought identical HUGE G.I. Joe leggo sets.
- Monday we played inside mostly (It was 97 degrees out!), went to the park and walked to the chevron station to get ice cream. (We bought an ice cream cookie thing for Tracie and put it in an insulated lunch box with ice in it and it was STILL half melted by the time we got it home!!!) That night we played with the new G.I. Joes.
- Tuesday it was another scorcher (Around 94 degrees, 97 in downtown Portland.) so we went to the Salmon Street Springs Fountain and played for hours.
- Today looks to be a mild scorcher, so we might play outside some, and I told Melissa she could pick todays game, so I’m thinkin there will be some Barbies involved in our meriment today. (Oh, Jack Jr. and Katherine are going to dinner with their aunt who’s in from Iowa today, so they’ll be gone for a part of the night.)
TTYL!

It’s been next to icy here. The lake wind is stirring it all up!
