Spring Forward

It’s a beautiful day! Jack and I have been busy little bees all day. I start my job full time on Tuesday so I’m trying to get my house in order and organized so I won’t have to worry too much about it once I go into full time mode. (I worked 9 hours spread out over last week for training and already got paid even! It was wonderful to see that check and know that I didn’t spend hours sitting and waiting for my phone to ring or do mundane data entry for hours to get paid “whenever”.)

Anyway, we (Jack) got some work done in the yard, laundry is almost done, all bedrooms are cleaned from top to bottom, floors are mopped, carpets cleaned and vacuumed (mostly… I hate this beautiful carpet — it’s NOT kid/dog/cat/family friendly… lol) …ahhh. It feels good to get the spring cleaning out of the way.

It was warm enough that the kids even got to play out in the sprinkler. They had a blast. Tonight we invited Ralph and Denise over for a BBQ dinner. Then tomorrow Jack and I and what kids we have left here are going to VEG out. lol My sister and her family are going to the beach this week and are taking Casey and Melissa with them. We were going to go too but it ended up not being in our budget to take the time off work, and then since I go this job, I didn’t want to ask for time off my second week. That wouldn’t look too good.
