Back to Normal… mostly
Things are slowly turning back to normal after the winter storm last week. We still have a big mess in our backyard to deal with, but the ice and snow is very slow to melt. The highest temperature we’ve had all week is 35. That makes for slow melting. Then at night it’s been dropping below freezing so everything freezes back over. And the cycle continues the next day. The weather people continue saying, “it’ll get warmer tomorrow”. It cracks me up. I’ll believe it when I see it. 
The kids went back to school today. In the past three weeks, they’ve only been to school one day! Two weeks off for the winter break, one day back, then the storm hit. They were excited to go back. Well, Casey and Melissa were anyway.
