Happy Halloween!
We had a great halloween. The kids were absolutely adorable. Kevin, Casey, and Cody were pirates and everyone seemed to love their costumes and all said they were cute. Cody was especially adorable and many couldn’t resist giving him one extra piece of candy. It helped that he said thank you at every door and added “have a nice day!” lol. He was a hoot!
Little Jack was dressed up as a scary skeleton. His costume was cool. It showed “his” ribs and when he squeezed this thing hidden in his hand under his robe, fake blood dripped down the ribs. Melissa dressed up as a witch with purple hair. She was very cute in her costume.
It was very very cold tonight but the kids did well and had a blast. Casey got tired before Cody did. (Is anyone surpised?) And when he had enough, he announced, “Halloween isn’t fun anymore. Lets go home.” hee hee When we got home it was nice to have the house be all cozy and warm since Jack built up the fire before we left. It was nice to thaw out near the woodstove while we checked out the kids’ candy.
Jack dressed up as a pirate too. He looked pretty cool. My costume was also a pirate costume but since it wasn’t something I could wear over warm clothes, I ended up not dressing up. It was just too darn cold! (At least it wasn’t super windy like it was last year…)
We didn’t have many trick-or-treaters here. But we were out ourselves during prime time so we could’ve missed a bunch. Between what the kids got and the stuff we bought to pass out, we have an abundance of candy in this house.

Hey guys. I’m glad you had fun. Sorry we wern’t able to make it over, my aunt came over at 11:00 and was here all day. We thought she would be gone sooner but it didn’t work out that way. We had fun with her though. love to all of you
