The heat is awful… I can’t image what it must be like for all these kids to go to school their first week in this awful heatwave. They said all week it would cool down by Friday… but now they are saying Saturday. :confused:

Kevin’s 1st Day of School Version 2.0 went better but it still couldn’t go without a hitch. Transportation decided the bus Kevin takes was too small for the route and the amount of kids so they changed to a bigger bus for the ride home. This of course means the new bus would have a DIFFERENT NUMBER on it than the bus they rode in on this morning and the bus they have taken all week. Unfortunately, the bus driver didn’t think to put a sign or something in the window that let the students know THAT bus was for their route… I guess nobody thought to tell the kids, “hey your bus changed, it’s now number blah blah blah” …. So a whole bunch of kids sat around waiting for their bus # and well, it didn’t show up. Luckily Ralph and Denise were able to get Kevin for me when he called… Needless to say I was on the phone and not a happy camper. I wanted to ask them if there was anything ELSE I should know before I send my kid to school tomorrow? Like, will he suddenly be in 12th grade? Or be put on a bus to China?? I mean at this point, it seems anything could happen with these people….
