BUSY!
I’ve been SOO busy these past few weeks. I’ve been actively looking for a job I can do at home. I have found one that should work out and will start next week. Then I decided to sell Watkins stuff and see how that goes. I didn’t even know they were still around except for my mom talking about how she loves their meat magic. So I figured she could buy from me from now on, hehe. The worst that can happen if things don’t work out with Watkins is I get a discount on their stuff, hehe. Anyway, there’s links to it on the side bar now and eventually I plan on building a web page for it. I’m just sick of working on web pages right now. It’s all I’ve done all week between fixing this one and the one I volunteer to update at another site and between training sessions for the job I start next week.
In the middle of all this I somehow managed to fit in babysitting for my adorable neice. She’s such a cutie! So tiny though. At 7.5 months of age, she is about the size Casey was at 2 months. I’m used to big rolly-poly babies and she’s anything but. I kept thinking I would break her.
I got ID bracelets for my kids. Let me tell you about how that went. After the horrible thing that happened last week, I went in search for ID bracelets. The companies I found online either had crappy websites, didn’t answer the phone at the number they had listed, or didn’t answer my emails. I was getting frustrated till I found My Tag Shop. Their prices were way better than any other site I went to and their customer service was superb. I got to talk to a real person when I called to ask about their bracelets. They said their engraver wouldn’t be in till Monday (this was last Thursday) but that was ok with me. I was happy to talk to someone after the hours I spent looking for a place that had real people and decent prices.
When Monday came around, the bracelets arrived, all four of them. I was shocked! I had written on the “special instructions” part of the form that to please send them ASAP because I had almost lost one of my kids and really wanted them to have ID. So I think they must’ve called in their engraver… and all four of the braclets were only $21.33. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I wrote them and thanked them.
In reading what I just wrote, it sounds like an ad… lol! But I was really impressed and wanted to pass that on.

Keep passing on the useful information. I got my first 3 movies and so far I am loving it. It is so great to get movies delivered to my house especially since I live in the boonies (or is it booneys’, or maybe booney’s) LOL :hehe:
Netflix rules, huh? I knew it would be perfect for you way out there in the "boonies" (I think that’s how you spell it). We save a ton of money just on late fees alone, lol!
